Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 1, 2026
DomDom Pop! is made by Space Runners Inc. ("we"). This policy explains what information the game and the service providers we work with handle. The short version: no accounts, no names, no emails. The game uses a random identifier, shows ads, and offers optional purchases.
What we collect
- Gameplay and diagnostics. Gameplay events (levels played, scores, feature use), crash and error messages, app version, device model and platform, your IP address (PostHog records it with each analytics event; we use it to derive your approximate country and to filter out automated test devices, and it is kept with those events), and a randomly generated player identifier. We analyze this with PostHog.
- Advertising data (Android, and iOS in non-personalized form). Ads are served by Google AdMob. On Android, AdMob and our measurement providers may use your device's advertising ID and device information to serve, limit and measure ads. On iOS the game does not track you: every ad request is non-personalized and we do not show the App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- Install attribution. AppsFlyer and Google (Firebase) tell us which ad campaign, if any, led to an install, using the advertising ID on Android and the random player identifier.
- Purchases. If you buy something in the game, the payment is handled entirely by Google Play or the App Store. We receive, through RevenueCat, the product, price, country and store transaction details. We never see your card or payment details.
- Leaderboards. Daily and weekly scores are stored with your random player identifier so you can see your rank. No name is attached.
- Cloud backup (progress code). Your game progress (levels, best scores, streaks, collection) is backed up to our server (Supabase) under a random progress code, so you can move it to a new phone. The backup contains no personal information beyond the random identifier.
We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, precise location, photos or any account information. No sign-up is required.
How we use it
To run the game (leaderboards, backups, purchases), to show and measure ads that keep the game free, to understand which campaigns bring players, and to improve the game: tuning difficulty, fixing bugs and building features.
Your choices
- Ad consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland). Players in these regions are asked for consent through Google's certified consent message before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice any time in Settings > Privacy options.
- Advertising ID. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings (Google > Ads).
- No ads. You can remove interstitial and banner ads with the one-time "Remove ads" purchase.
- Deletion. Deleting the app removes all progress stored on your device. To delete your cloud backup and analytics data, email us your progress code (Settings > Progress code) and we will delete it within 30 days.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers named above, who process it on our behalf or under their own policies: Google (AdMob, Firebase), AppsFlyer, PostHog, RevenueCat and Supabase.
Retention and security
Analytics events are kept for up to 24 months; purchase records as long as required for accounting; cloud backups until you delete them or they are unused for 24 months. All data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
Children
DomDom Pop! is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated effective date.
